Punk-derived Manchester group whose experiments on the dance floor were an influential blend of funk and misery.
The group was on Factory Records, alongside like-minded outfits such as Joy Division, New Order and Durutti Column.
The group takes its name from a lyric in the 1974 Brian Eno song, "The True Wheel."
