There are voices in this world that you simply want to listen to, regardless of the style or instrumentation. Boubacar Traore's is one of those. On his fourth release since returning to music in the late '80s, Malian up-and-comers Habib Koite and Bamada help out, but the strength lies in the delicate, evocative guitar playing and Traore's effortlessly distinct voice.
