Caedmon's Call
One of the bright spots in ACCM, Caedmon's Call plays a combination of radio-ready Adult Alternative and Christian folk-rock.
Caedmon's Call were formed in 1992 while the band members attended Texan Christian University in Ft. Worth.
Caedmon's Call released their first two albums themselves. Both sold more than ten-thousand copies.
In 1996, Musician mag named Caedmon's Call one of the best unsigned bands, which led to a deal with Warner Brothers.
Caedmon's Call's tribute to the culture, spirit and plight of India's Dalits earned them the 50th spot on our year-end list.
