Cut Chemist
A much-loved DJ and producer, Cut is known for his Funk-heavy mixing and quality beats for Jurassic 5.
In 2000, he teamed up with DJ Shadow for the insanely popular "Brainfreeze" project.
He's also collaborated with many other artists, including Peanut Butter Wolf, Nobody, and Ugly Duckling.
Cut Chemist used to play with Latin fusion band Ozomotli but had to leave due to J5's hectic schedule.
In 2001, he released a split 12-inch with Madlib. Cut contributed "Bunky's Pick," a megamix of the "Funky 16 Corners" comp.
