The Descendents first formed in 1979. Their infectiously catchy pop melodies helped lay the foundation for Punk-Pop. Shortly after forming, the Descendents released a single, "Ride the Wild," then disappeared until 1981. After releasing "Milo Goes to College," singer Milo Ackerman actually left the band to go to college. Milo Ackerman and Bill Stevenson reformed the Descendents in 1996. They recorded a new album, "Everything Sucks."
