This smoky-voiced Irish chanteuse is also a songwriter of some renown. She's seen her songs covered by the likes of Emmylou Harris and Mary Black. McEvoy took up the violin at age eight, and ended up attending Trinity College. She went on to play with the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland before diving into a solo career. Her song "Only a Woman's Heart" became one of the biggest-selling records in Ireland.
