One of the louder and more innovative bands of the late '90s, Frodus bulldoze genre boundaries. In an all-out musical assault, they merge the intense, screaming thunder of Hardcore with the introspective, moody, and technically precise elements of Emo. Frodus push both styles of Punk to new levels and fuse them with searing, sharp rhythms that spill into crisp, blaring guitars. Their knack for shouldering boundaries stems, in part, from a love of Devo; the influence isn't obvious, but it does show in their intelligent, seemingly innocuous lyrics.
