The Goo Goo Dolls will hit the road this fall in support of Gutterflowers, which was released in April. The band will spend the next few weeks wrapping up tour dates in Australia, New Zealand and Japan before heading home. As with the band's summer tour, they plan to mix up the set list to include the standards and some long lost tracks from their early days.
"It's pretty cool when you've got seven records," singer Johnny Rzeznik says. "You can go back and play all kinds of stuff. I just like to see the looks on people's faces when you pull something off the shelf and throw it out there, because you know ninety percent of the crowd has never heard that record. They're kind of like, 'Yeah! Yeah! . . . What the hell was that?'"
Lisa Loeb will open for the Goos on all dates. Loeb's Cake and Pie was released this March.
As with the band's summer tour they are once again collecting non-perishable food donations for USA Harvest at all dates.
