Hootie & the Blowfish
Le groupe Hootie & the Blowfish a été fondé en 1989 à l'université de Caroline du sud par le chanteur et guitariste Darius Rucker, Mark Bryan, Dean Felber et Jim "Soni" Sonefeld. Le premier album du groupe, "Cracked Rear View", a été édité en 1994 et a jouit du succès de la chanson "Hold My Hand". La sortie des chansons "Let Her Cry" et "Only Wanna Be With You" a fait gagner à l'album plusieurs disques de platine. "Fairweather Johnson" est sorti en 1996 et "Musical Chairs" deux ans plus tard. En 2000, Hootie & the Blowfish ont enregistré "Scattered, Smothered, and Covered".
