Cash gets reissued, Master P gets televised

Johnny Cash's late-Eighties/early-Nineties albums -- Johnny Cash Is Coming to Town, Boom Chicka Boom, Water From the Wells of Home and The Mystery of Life -- will be reissued with bonus material on February 11th . . . Master P and his son Lil' Romeo will star in a new television family comedy, Uncle P, which begins production later this month . . . Idlewild will begin a twenty-seven-date club tour on March 5th in Boston in support of their March 25th release, The Remote Part. On May 28th the band will begin a fifteen-date run opening for Pearl Jam . . . Songs by Spoon, Lambchop, Superchunk, the Buzzcocks and others will be included on Merge Records' Survive and Advance (Vol. 2), due February 18th.
