Best known for their "House Party" films, Kid N Play are a G-rated rap duo who recorded in the late '80s and early '90s. Similar in style to DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince, Kid N Play debuted in 1988 with "2 Hype". Kid hosted a musical variety show in 2000 but was later replaced by Alfonso Riberto.
