The Lyres' charm lies in their animalization of '60s rock songs -- souped up and blasted out as rabid hyenas. The Lyres' frontman, Jeff Connolly was formerly in late '70s Punk band DMZ. Based around the talents of Jeff "Monoman" Connolly, this Boston band has been making garagey punk since the 1970's.
