On Monday night, Madonna, Sting, Elton John and a slew of other celebrities came out to honor Gianni Versace.|
The event, held at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art, was a $2,000-a-plate fundraiser benefiting the museum's Costume Institute. Other stars on hand included Kate Moss, Ralph Lauren and Gwyneth Paltrow. On Thursday, the museum will open the first exhibit, which highlights Versace's work.
