Planetshakers
Formed in 1996, Planetshakers, whose name brought to mind the US Promisekeepers, was a massive Australian Christian organization, and one part of it was its Music Ministry (1984, anyone?). Having released "Open Up the Gates" in 2004, the group was nominated for a 2005 Dove at the Gospel Music Awards. Planetshakers also organized an annual evangelizing conference and recieved "a mandate from God" in 2002 to make "City Church" in Melbourne. This evolved to include "Boom Youth" at Melbourne High School, one of several "Ministries" under the City Church blanket organization.
