Hardcore emo kids from New Jersey, Saves the Day is known for an open-minded and varied approach to the genre. In addition to punishing hardcore, the band has several highly popular "tour-only" acoustic releases. Saves the Day was originally known as Sefler. "Stay What You Are," released in 2001, is generally considered the band's best record. Saves the Day has toured with Weezer, Blink-182 and Green Day.
