Stardust
A super-group of French electronica stars, Stardust brought together vocalist Benjamin Diamond and producers Thomas Bangalter (from Daft Punk) and Alan Braxe. The three put out just one track under the Stardust moniker, "Music Sounds Better With You", on Daft House Productions in June 1998. This instant club smash was built around a sample from Chaka Khan's "Fate" and has been called 'the greatest house song of the millenium'. Diamond and Braxe used it to catalyse their solo careers, while Bangalter returned to work on Daft Punk's second (and first synth-pop) album, "Discovery".
