Stellastarr's mix of paranoid vocals and high drama made them hopefuls in 2003's great NYC black-clad band watch. The group's self-titled major label debut came out at the end of September 2003. Nonstop gigging in NYC and a feverish reception at places like the SXSW festival resulted in great buzz for the band.
