Taking Back Sunday are hitting the road for a twenty-two-date tour in support of their third album, Louder Now, out April 25th. The spring trek begins March 31st in Boulder, Colorado, and is the Long Island screamo rockers' first major U.S. tour since last spring's opening spot for Jimmy Eat World.
The Warped Tour vets -- singer Adam Lazzara, guitarists Eddie Reyes and Fred Mascherino, bassist Matthew Rubano and drummer Mark O'Connell -- recorded the follow-up to their 2004 breakthrough, Where You Want to Be, this past fall in Los Angeles with producer Eric Valentine (Good Charlotte, Queens of the Stone Age). Their major-label debut, Louder Now features cuts like the Motown-inspired "Sleep" and "MakeDamnSure," the album's first single.
"It gave us a chance to have more than two guitar sounds on a record," Lazzara told Rolling Stone of the intense recording sessions. "We took a painstakingly long time. I'd drop by the studio, and some of the things coming out -- I'm like, 'This is us? This is our band?' I love it."
