This compilation gathers the group's best-known singles ("Gloria" "Baby Please Don't Go") and throws in a few that didn't do as well ("Richard Cory," "One More Time"). All throughout, Van Morrison delivers the vocal goods. He sounds tough on these tracks, like a mixture of Screaming Jay Hawkins and Ray Charles. You really can't beat that.
