Dominican born Toño Rosario formed the merengue group Los Hermanos Rosario with his brother in 1978. The 14-piece band was successful throughout the 80's releasing a number of hit records including "Bomba Mi Hermano" and "Bomba 2000". But Rosario decided to embark on his solo career in 1990, moved to Puerto Rico and debuted a year later with "Atado A Ti". He released a string of albums since, four of which went gold, which led to him becoming one of the most popular artists in Puerto Rico. Since 2000 Rosario has released five records including "En Vivo: El Original (Live)" of 2006.
