Andre Rieu
Le violoniste/chef d'orchestre André Rieu est né le 1er octobre 1949 à Maastricht aux Pays-Bas. Fils d'un chef d'orchestre, il est devenu célèbre en tant que “Waltz King of Europe”, jouant avec son “Johann Strauss Orchestra”. Ayant démarré en 1987 avec 12 membres, son orchestre atteint depuis jusqu'à 50 musiciens. Parmi les albums de Rieu figurent “Romantic Moments” (1998), “Live at the Royal Albert Hall” (2001) et “The Flying Dutchman” (2004), au titre bien approprié. En 2005, Rieu, qui a sa propre compagnie de production, a sorti l'album “Songs From My Heart”.
