Primal Scream (Alt Dance)
Primal Scream were the cornerstone band for legendary independent label Creation Records.
Singer Bobby Gillespie got his start drumming for the Jesus & Mary Chain. His kit consisted of two or three floor toms.
They now boast such luminaries as Kevin Shields from My Bloody Valentine and Mani from the Stone Roses as full time members.
1991's award-winning "Screamadelica" helped bridge the gap between indie guitars and acid house electronics.
