K's Choice Set To Go Clubbing

club tour

Now that they've completed a stint on this summer's Lilith Fair, K's Choice want to get intimate. |

On July 27 in San Francisco, K's Choice will kick off a club tour in support of their recent release, Cocoon Crash. The Belgium-based quintet will play a month of dates, hitting such cities as Los Angeles (July 28), Salt Lake City (Aug. 1), Cincinnati (Aug. 11), New York (Aug. 18), St. Louis (Sept. 5) and Atlanta (Sept. 13).

For two weeks earlier this summer, K's Choice headlined Lilith's second stage. During one of the shows, Sarah Bettens, the group's lead singer and songwriter, joined the Indigo Girls on a rendition of Neil Young's "Rockin' in the Free World."

Bettens kept a log of her time on Lilith, in which she wrote: "I seem to get reminded of what this festival is all about at least four or five times a day. A celebration of women, sharing their passion for music with each other and everyone else who wants to be a part of it. I feel very inspired to do the right thing. I don't know what that means exactly, but that's how it feels. Being here brings out my good side and I feel like thanking someone for it."

After Lilith, Bettens and company headed back to Europe for a string of festival dates. (Ari Bendersky)
